Discovering Chaos:
Finding a balance in chaos from things going lef right up down, inside out, broken to fixed, different shades different colors different ways, different figures different shapes,welcome or unwelcome, and still being able to see the silver lining in it all, to be able to discover balance and order through the chaos.
Trees:
Trees like people come in all shapes, sizes and forms. Through a couple of summers of hiking local nature trails I have a growing fascination with trees and all the forms they come in. There is a stunning variety and beauty in every tree just like people. This piece is to pay homage to the beauty in us all and the differences we all have which make us unique and make up the forest of humanity.

This painting has a collage of different cell block textures representing the different things and concepts that imprison us in our lives.
Yin/Yang:
Here I have the tension between light and dark fighting each other, the highs and lows in life and how they are both necessary halves of the whole life experience. The yin/yang symbol is about the delicate balance of life and in this painting I show that balance playing out in the joys and and pains of everyday life. In the journey we jump back and fourth between the two and in the journey of discovery wins become losses and losses can become wins. There is a thin line between being a fool and being wise; there is a blessing in defeat and a curse in winning. Everything that life shows you is for you.
Motivation Book
This book was made to slow down and think deeply on everyday life. Large and small concepts and phrases make up a 120 page book that can be used for daily inspiration and self reflection. On one side there is a daily meditation and slots to put 5 important things that one would like to do every day; this is customizable for each person and for me those things were stretch, meditate, work out, cook, and art. On the other side is a drawing corresponding to the daily meditation. This is meant to help people take stock of what is important in life which is what making the book was used for for me. On top of being about your daily routine and your own reflection on life, this book is meant to challenge you and your thoughts and perspectives. Be open to receive.
